The National Camping and Caravanning Week runs from Monday 25 May to Sunday 31 May and the main theme for 2015 is 'Get Kids Camping'. The Camping and Caravanning Club has conducted research into the positive benefits of camping in tents, caravans or motorhomes on children's practical abilities, confidence and energy levels.
It will share the results during NCCW and publish a report on the club website. This latest research follows on from findings of it's Real Richness rsearch announced in 2012. Back then it discovered that 8 in 10 campers feel camping brings you closer as a family and 96% of kids said they felt happy when playing with their friends outdoors.
To promote the results of the 'Get Kids Camping' research, the club as a pop-up campsite roadshow, which it'll take to key urban areas, including London and Sheffield.
